You will lead by example, support your teammates, and help ensure clients receive safe, tailored, and effective support. This role also supports future leadership development within the team. Duties: Provide person-centred support to clients with complex needs Follow and implement care and behaviour support plans Support with medication, health monitoring, and appointments Respond safely to behaviours of concern and crisis situations Participate in complex care reviews Mentor and guide other team members Build positive relationships with clients, families, and support networks Promote independence and community participation Complete accurate documentation in line with NDIS standards Follow all policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Skills and Experience: Essential: Experience supporting people with complex or high-intensity needs Strong understanding of person-centred and active support Experience implementing behaviour support strategies Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently Willingness to continue learning and developing
Desirable: Experience participating in complex care reviews Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards (including High-Intensity supports) Informal leadership or mentoring experience
