On Call Coordinator - Disability Services
Permanent Part Time - 28 Hours per fortnight - Remote Role

About the Role:

 

We are looking for an On Call Coordinator to provide steady after hours support and quick responses to workforce needs. You will manage incidents, keep communication clear, and make sure all activity is recorded.


During quieter periods you will assist with project work, data collection, and reporting. The role suits someone who stays calm under pressure, knows when to escalate, and is confident using systems.

 

***  Please note this is a remote role.

Duties:

 

  • Respond to after hours incidents and emergencies

  • Record and communicate all after hours activity

  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards

  • Support project work, data collection, and reporting

  • Assist with training related to after hours practice

  • Maintain clear communication with the On Call Lead and key stakeholders

  • Apply strong systems knowledge and positive behaviour support

  • Work within a person centred framework and escalate issues when needed

 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

Essential:

 

  • Experience in on call or crisis response within community services or disability support

  • Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and compliance requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Basic data analysis and reporting skills

  • Commitment to ongoing learning

  • Systems knowledge and positive behaviour support capability

  • Ability to work within a person centred framework

 

 Desirable:

 

  • Qualifications in community services, disability support, or a related field

  • Experience providing support or guidance to staff
