About The Role: Challenge Community Services is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Technology Support Officer to join our IT Team in Tamworth! In this role you will be a pivotal member of the IT Team providing front line technical and systems support to Challenge Community Services staff. Your main focus will be ensuring the smooth operation of our computer hardware, software, associated devices, peripherals, and communication systems. You'll be responsible for offering direct operational support to staff, managing hardware replacements, performing data backups and restorations, issuing mobile phones, and contributing to various projects. About you: We're looking for someone with strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills who is proficient with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 products. Effective time management, problem-solving abilities and a curious nature are essential. You should be able to work independently and within a team, with flexibility to work outside regular office hours when needed. A Certificate IV in Information Technology or significant progress towards it, as well as a current NSW Driver’s License, are required. Desirable qualifications: - Experience in a corporate helpdesk environment or similar a technology support role.
- Experience supporting computer users with technical issues.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Understanding and experience of computer networking technologies.
