JOIN US - SHAPE LIVES - BUILD YOUR CAREER About the Role: Challenge Community Services is seeking a dedicated Caseworker to join our Foster Care team. Reporting to the Manager Casework, you will provide case management for children and young people in Out of Home Care (OOHC), ensuring their safety, wellbeing and permanency outcomes are the priority. This role involves working closely with children, families, foster carers and external stakeholders to achieve stable, positive outcomes. Participation in an on-call roster and occasional after-hours work is required. Benefits: - SCHAD’s Award Level 3 Pay rates from $38.65 - $41.45

Duties: Manage foster care placements and deliver effective case management Develop and review case plans in line with court orders and permanency goals Monitor placements to ensure safety and stability Facilitate case meetings and maintain accurate records Support and guide foster carers Promote family engagement and positive contact arrangements Develop Cultural Support Plans where required Complete reports and documentation within required timeframes Liaise with key stakeholders including NSW Department of Communities and Justice Participate in the on-call roster
Skills and Experience: Essential: Experience in case management within Human Services (e.g. OOHC, Disability, Aged Care) Strong communication and report writing skills Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines Well-developed organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current Working With Children Check and satisfactory criminal record Current driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
Desirable: - Knowledge of relevant NSW child protection legislation and standards
