In this role, you’ll support people with high support needs, including individuals who use wheelchairs or require medical assistance, empowering them to live with dignity, independence, and choice. No two days are the same. You’ll be hands-on in supporting daily routines, building meaningful relationships, and creating a safe, supportive home environment where clients can truly thrive. *** Please note this role is based within our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) services and requires strong availability for overnight (sleepover/active) shifts across both weekdays and weekends. Benefits: - SCHAD’s Award Level 2 Pay rates from $34.58 – $37.73 (base rate) or $43.23 - $47.16 (casual rate)

Duties: - Supporting clients with personal care and daily living tasks
- Assisting with manual handling and mobility aids
- Providing care for individuals with complex and medical needs
- Encouraging independence, choice, and community participation
- Building strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families
- Responding to challenges with empathy, patience, and professionalism
Skills and Experience: Essential: - Experience working with high-needs disability clients
- Confidence using manual handling techniques and equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Outlook)
- Current Driver’s Licence, Working With Children Check, NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
- Access to a personal vehicle for work use, if required
Desirable: - Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of NDIA processes
